Tipsy Textures Art Studio hosts private textured art events across Brisbane. A relaxed, hands-on creative experience for birthdays, hens parties, girls' nights, and special celebrations. No art skills required, just good company and a couple of hours of fun. Everyone goes home with two finished pieces of art they actually made themselves.

Why our private events are a little bit special
There's something magical about a group creating side by side. Phones go down, conversation flows, and everyone relaxes into the moment.
Textured art is the perfect group activity because it's genuinely for everyone. No experience needed, nothing to "get right," and no way to fail. It's calming and creative, but also social and fun. You'll be amazed how quickly a room full of "I'm not artistic" turns into a room full of proud creators showing off their work.
We keep the vibe warm, welcoming, and easygoing — you bring the people and the party spirit, we bring the guidance and all the supplies.

Everything's taken care of, so you can relax and enjoy your own event.
All materials provided: plaster, tools, canvases, and aprons for everyone. Come as you are; we handle the mess.
Friendly, hands-on guidance: a welcoming introduction to textured art, inspiring examples to spark ideas, and one-on-one support throughout so every guest feels confident.
Two finished canvases per guest: each person designs and creates two pieces of their own to take home.
A take-home PDF guide: so anyone who falls in love with it can keep creating afterwards.
A relaxed, celebratory atmosphere: the kind of experience that makes your event feel genuinely special.
We come to you, or we'll help you find a venue
We can bring the whole event to your home or chosen space. All we need is a practical spot, hard floors are ideal, plus tables and chairs. Prefer to be hosted somewhere? No problem. We have a range of lovely Brisbane venues we can suggest to suit your group and occasion.
Either way, we take care of setup and pack-down. You just enjoy the celebration.
Feel free to bring your own food, drinks, and decorations to make the event your own. A bit of bubbly and a grazing board never goes astray!

Hi, I'm Brooke, founder of Tipsy Textures Art Studio. After around two decades in a high-pressure career, I discovered textured art as a way to slow down and reconnect — and it changed everything. Today I host relaxed, fun-filled events across Brisbane, helping people who swear they "aren't creative" surprise themselves every single time. My goal is simple: to make sure you and your guests feel comfortable, have a wonderful time, and leave with art you're proud of.

We can host groups of up to 30 guests. Planning something bigger? Get in touch. We can often arrange a larger venue or a tailored session to suit your celebration.

Our private events require a minimum of 6 guests. If your group is smaller, we'd still love to hear from you. We may be able to fit you into a public workshop or arrange something to suit.

Yes! You're very welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and decorations. Many groups love adding bubbly and a grazing board to make it feel like a proper celebration. If we're at a suggested venue, we'll let you know their specific requirements.

Absolutely. Feel free to bring balloons, banners, or any little touches to make the event feel special. If we're hosting at your home or space, decorate away. At external venues, we'll confirm what's allowed so you can plan with confidence.

Definitely! Our events are made for complete beginners, and "I'm not creative" is the most common thing we hear before we start (and never after!). Textured art is relaxing, forgiving, and guided every step of the way, so no experience or natural talent is needed. You'll surprise yourself.

We understand plans change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy may vary depending on the venue and notice provided. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change. We'll always do our best to find a solution that works for you.

It depends. If we come to your home or chosen space, there are no additional venue fees. If you'd like us to arrange an external venue, some may charge a hire fee, which we'll always explain clearly and up front so there are no surprises.

Simply get in touch through the enquiry button with your preferred date, group size, and location. To confirm your booking, we ask for a non-refundable $250 deposit, with the balance due7 days before the event. Popular dates, especially weekends and around the holidays, book out quickly, so early enquiries are recommended.
